Free Crochet Pattern for Knit Look Ribbed Hat!

Crochet Pattern Knit Look Ribbed hat by Crochet Zone

Last week I posted the Knit Look Ribbed Cowl but it looked so lonely without a matching hat! Here’s a simple beanie that will pair nicely with the cowl. Like the cowl it works up in about an hour and has the distinctive knit look ribbing. The ribs are very easy to make by working in “third” loop. If you need a little help figuring out where the third loop is, Moogly has an excellent tutorial and you can click HERE to see it. The band around the head is worked in back loop single crochet for a stretchy finish that will keep the hat on your head! The hat is worked from side to side. I only had one skein of yarn left so i made the hat beanie style, but if you want to make it a slouch, just increase the beginning chain to make it as long as you like.
