Crochet Color Changes in the Round

Some of the most beautiful crochet work I’ve seen is a symphony of different colors. While beautiful, color changes can present a bit of a challenge. Here are two methods I have found that work pretty well. I prefer the second method when working in rounds because there is no detectable join.

You may find this video tutorial by Crochet Crowd to be helpful.

  2. Thank you so much for this site. I am working on c2c blanket and I am not sure when to start decreasing. The pattern says, work until you have 48 blocks across. I am afraid that I don’t understand shaping second corner, and third corner. It is the Red Heart Corner to Corner Crochet Throw. I should have started something easy.

It’s so nice of you to be helping people out in this way. Hopefully today, or sometime this weekend, I’ll be going out to get some blanket yard and making some pillow covers! And here I was gonna buy new pillows! Can’t wait to get them started! 🙂

Just came across your site today, and only after looking at a couple things, your page has been more helpful than alllllll the other sites I’ve looked at, combined! Thanks so much! 🙂

I live in a nursing home and crochet baby hats and booties to sell for extra cash. The helps I’ve used from your site are extremely helpful. Thanks!
